Using of aerial survey methods for creating of topographical maps and plans prevailed during the 20th century. Specificity of this fact consists in appearance of two new technologies of geospatial data collecting. These are laser locators or lidars and digital aerial survey cameras using of which for topographical purposes can provide considerable advantages both in technical and economic aspects. Combined using of laser location and digital aerial survey data can be considered as the main technological tendency in this field. Many people agree that such a combination provides maximum accuracy of the final data. It is significant that combined using of airborne lasor locators (scanners) and digital aerial survey cameras, and combined data processing have been carrying out for the last 8-10 years. So this technology can be considered as classical, time-proved.
